Halloween Costumes for Couples – We Need Witches and Wizards!
What better subject for Halloween costumes for couples? Of course we need to be traditional, but let’s stir in some movie magic yet again and look at the J.K. Rowling phenomenon known as Harry Potter.
You’d better think twice if you think that the Harry Potter craze has died down. On the contrary, it is expected to reach fever pitch again since the first of the final two installments of the movie series is about to be released very soon.
Halloween is just around the corner, and if you’re a couple planning for particular Halloween costumes for couples, we know it’s a bit difficult to decide what you’ll do; dress as a couple or not? But we all know it would be more fun to dress up as a couple. So why don’t you take a cue from this very popular series?
Of course, since it is Halloween, you might say this is an expected move, to dress as a witch and wizard or warlock. But there lies the challenge for you to present some new twists to an otherwise predictable theme.
You could dress up as your favorite characters in the movie. Some ideas would be Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, or even Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore, to name a few. I’m not sure that Hagrid and a creature of some kind would be a good idea, but you’re free to try!
It also provides you a chance to stretch your imaginations and try to look as close as possible to your chosen characters. You’ll even have fun making others guess who you’re supposed to be dressed as!
But if you’re not such a big fan of the series, then you could get inspiration from other movies as well.
If you’d like to branch out and not channel any movie character, you could still take that idea and have fun with it. You can go dressed as a sorceress and a wizard, or a witch and a warlock, and just be color-coordinated or have a theme as a couple. You could even also go as a specific type or kind of witch or warlock.
And again, for those who would dare to bare some or maybe even a lot of skin, you could browse the various sexy witch and sorceress costumes for couples available. But, ladies, this idea is generally not applicable for wizards and warlocks (or your male counterparts), though, so that is totally up to you.
Let your imagination work and just have fun, you should find lots of halloween costumes for couples if you just think laterally a bit!
